Full-Sized Computer Screen
MobilystTM uses a full-sized screen with an optional
camera interface which enables the field person to enter and display all relevant information
on one easy-to-read screen including the building drawings and photographs. The
full-sized screen allows the user to set up a Property Record Card that contains the comprehensive
information that is familiar to the field person. The Property Record Card display gives
the field person an effective presentation of all the field data without requiring numerous
displays. In palm-sized applications the user is required to view many screens and must
scroll to see all of the data. It not only takes more time for a user to go through
the many palm-sized screens, but it also means the user must remember all of the data from previous
screens to get a full understanding of the property. Another advantage of a full-sized
screen over a palm-sized screen is that it allows the field staff to draw complex buildings that
palm-sized screens often force the user to hand sketch and bring back to the office for later data
entry on a full-sized screen. This re-introduces all of the potential error and drawbacks
of the original paper operation. A full sized display is simply more efficient and more effective.
User Definable Fields and User Configurable Property Record Card
MobilystTM is a table-driven system that enables you to set up a
customized Property Record Card for field data collection based on your existing Property Record
Card. All fields on the Property Record Card can be configured by the administrator
including which fields are display only, and which can be updated. The Property Record
Card display is user configurable so the field appraiser can set up the display to provide the
information in a format they are accustomed to seeing. This configurability also allows
the field appraiser to customize the display for the field tasks they are performing (e.g. new
construction, review or reappraisal) to increase efficiency and productivity. The combination
of full-screen display, user definable fields, and user configurable Property Record Card provides
the field person with all of the information on one easy to read screen including the building
drawings and photographs.
Easy to Use Drawing Function
MobilystTM easily handles complex drawings including angles, curves,
perimeters, multiple drawings per parcel, and detached buildings. Drawings are fully edited
for closure with prompts to assist the user when a drawing fails to close. A pop-up window
displays user defined area/subarea names and labels to speed pen entry. The easy to use
drawing software combined with the full-sized screen permits MobilystTM
to draw buildings in the field which are too complex for palm-sized screens.
Access to Properties by Parcel Number, Address or Name
MobilystTM permits the user to search for properties by Parcel/Account
Number, Situs Address, or Name. The search can be easily changed at any time as needed by
the user. MobilystTM tracks which property you are editing and returns you to that parcel
the next time you sign on.
Integrates with any CAMA System
MobilystTM data can be imported and exported in XML,
fixed length fields or comma delimited ASCII files to facilitate integration with any
CAMA system.
